On December 5th, 2023 Eluna's respected panel of clinicians & caregivers addressed barriers & stigma associated with addiction and overdose loss, and shared strategies to support youth & families grieving an overdose death and connect them to communities of support.

On September 21, 2023 Eluna's esteemed panel of experts invited us to expand the definition of grief by honoring intergenerational activism, intersectionality, and collective grief experiences within queer & trans communities. This informative conversation also explored unique barriers to grief support and actionable steps to build brave and affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ youth and communities.

On March 2, 2023 Eluna is proud to have hosted another installment of our Community Conversations: The Pandemic's Impact on Grief. Moderated by award winning broadcast reporter, Kavitha Cardoza, our esteemed panelists explored COVID's impact on grieving families, addresed the stigma of COVID loss, and provided support strategies for families who have experienced loss during this extraordinary time. Mentoring can help children and families break the intergenerational cycle of addiction. Our panel, featuring Camp Mariposa mentors, youth participants, and program directors, highlights how trained mentors are successfully helping youth and families cope with a loved one’s substance use disorder and preventing the next generation from developing their own addiction.
