Produced annually by The Moyer Foundation, the "What Cancer Cannot Do" Calendar is a full-color calendar created from artwork by Hutch School students. Hutch School is a fully accredited K-12 school program serving patients (and their family members) who are temporarily in Seattle to receive treatment at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Hutch School students come from all over the word, but they share a common bond- as they are all coping with a serious illness, emotional distress and moving to a new city.
Each month features a colorful painting or drawing accompanied by educational information on cancer prevention and inspiring messages from students explaining "What Cancer Cannot Do," such as "Cancer Cannot Take Away Love",” "Cancer Cannot Take Away Memories, “Cancer Cannot take away Music”.
Proceeds from the calendar help provide teachers, educational materials, supplies and maintain a therapeutic environment that is conducive to the special needs of the students.
