Community Fundraising
The Moyer Foundation is inspired by the creativity and dedication of small businesses, individuals and kids who are leading and organizing fundraising events and activities to benefit The Moyer Foundation. From school groups and sports teams, groups of friends and relatives– big and small events – everybody can make a difference.

The Moyer Foundation strongly encourages and supports community fundraising, or Partner Events of all kinds!

• Create an online fundraising campaign through your social media network: Facebook Causes, Twitter, Givezooks
• Hold a Race/Walk-a-Thon: Click HERE for a basic step-by-step guide on how to host a walk in your community.
• Host a Coin Drive: Have on site donation containers at your work place or with friends and family.
• Customer-driven promotions with % proceeds benefitting TMF
• Restaurants – dedicated menu items, or promo days “Moyer Mondays”
• On site donation containers
• Ask employees to donate during a time period and match donations
• Ask employees to make a minimum contribution to receive a fun reward (donate $10 for the privilege of “casual Friday”)
• Host a silent auction at work/office
• Company golf or bowling tournaments
• Dedicate birthday/holiday/religious celebration gifts to The Moyer Foundation. (see below for request card)
• School/team/group event
  • coin drive
  • bake sale, lemonade stand
• Host special event (BBQ, breakfast, etc) – get food donated
• Sell artwork
• Host a Teddy Bear or Blanket Drive: Every Camp Erin camper receives these comfort gifts when they arrive at camp. Comfort gifts help give campers a feeling of safety and care during camp as well as give them another outlet for releasing emotions.
• Host an Arts and Crafts Drive for Camp Erin supplies: Campers participate in various art activities throughout camp weekend.  
• Host a Dinner Party: Invite Friends/Family over for dinner and request they donate the money they would have spent out to The Moyer Foundation/Camp Erin.

Thank you for letting us know about your event/activity by completing and returning the Partner Event Form. After we receive the form, the appropriate staff person will contact respond within 7-10 days.
