In response to the devastating tsunami in Southeast Asia, TMF, spearheaded by Co-Founder, Karen Moyer, joins forces with local schools, entrepreneurs and other companies to support Asiana Education Development (AED), a non-profit organization that provides hands on, direct assistance to schools and orphanages throughout Sri Lanka. Through this effort, The Moyer Foundation organizes a massive donation drive to collect food, clothing and supplies and creates the "

Launch of the
Camp Erin Campaign for Kids
– a multi-year fundraising campaign to establish more than 50 new camps nationwide, creating a national network of advocates - from professional sports, agency partners and experts in the field of childhood bereavement.
The Moyer Foundation launches Camp Mariposa, in partnership with Youth Eastside Services (Y.E.S), a camp for children who have been affected drug and/or alcohol addiction of a family member. This appears to be the first camp of its kind in the country.
