"Our dream in starting the Foundation was to provide a way for the community to give back and feel really good about where their donation was going while making a lasting and positive impact in the lives of children in distress. We are so grateful to all those who join our team, enabling the Foundation to serve more children in more ways each year."

Our Mission: Helping Children Experiencing Grief and Family Addiction

The mission of The Moyer Foundation is to provide comfort, hope and healing to children affected by loss and family addiction.

The Moyer Foundation, a public, 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization with offices in Seattle, WA and Philadelphia, PA, was founded in 2000 by MLB, World Series-winning All-Star pitcher Jamie Moyer and his wife, Karen.

Through the generosity of a giving community, The Moyer Foundation supports programs that directly support children impacted by loss and family addiction. Since its inception, The Moyer Foundation has raised millions of dollars to help support hundreds of different programs that help children in distress in a variety of ways.

The Moyer Foundation created and supports Camp Erin, the largest network of free bereavement camps in the country for children and teens who are grieving a significant loss; Camp Mariposa, for children affected by addiction in their families; and community partnerships to help raise awareness and support initiatives that share in the mission of helping children experiencing grief and family addiction.

The Moyer Foundation raises funds for programs and initiatives through many special events, corporate partnerships and individual donations. The Moyer Foundation is grateful to all of the dedicated volunteers, corporate sponsors, in-kind and individual donors who join our team—to help give hope to children impacted by loss and family addiction.
